School and Special Interest Groups

The Natural Heritage Education (NHE) staff are available in the spring, summer, and fall seasons to provide educational programming for school groups (JK to grade 12) and special interest groups. NHE staff will customize with you, your class or groups program to coordinate with current areas of study/interest.


Programs are customized to individual classes/groups needs in one or several themes depending on the allotted time. The park educational areas of expertise are listed below and all park programs relate to one or more of the following themes.

  • Schooner Town - Naval Establishment on the Nottawasaga River 
  • The Lumber Trade in the 1800s
  • Trail of the Caribou & Aviation History
  • Wasaga Beach - from the beginning to now!
