Join park naturalists at the Wasaga Nordic & Trail Centre at 10:00am on Wednesdays for a chance to reconnect with nature and discover a new part of Wasaga Beach Provincial Park. The Wasaga Nordic & Trail Centre hosts a network of paths just waiting to be explored. These 1-1.5 hour hikes lead by Park Naturalists will take you into freshwater parabolic dunes and pine-oak savannah, helping you to better understand this fragile ecosystem and gain an appreciation for the wildlife who call this area home. Long pants and close-toed shoes are recommended as poison ivy is common along the trails.

Guided Night Hikes - Wednesday July 20th and August 17th, 2016

What goes bump in the night? Let Park Naturalists introduce you to the sights, sounds and smells of a forest coming alive at dusk. Night-time is the right time for exploring the dunes! Join us on Wednesday, July 20th at 8:00 pm and August 17th at 7:30pm. Hikes last 1 to 1.5 hours. Please dress for the weather, wear long pants, close-toed shoes and bring a flashlight.
