Birds:
Species of birds Wasaga Beach Provincial Park provides habitat for 230 species, including those found nesting within park boundaries and those passing through during migration seasons. Of these species, those marked with an asterisk are uncommonly seen because they maybe transients, are a historical nesting species, or are provincially rare under the Natural Heritage Information Centre (Ministry of Natural Resources, 2004). The following species list was created in 1989.
