Bench Dedication Program

Bench Dedication Program Postponed until Further Notice

Due to high water levels along the Wasaga Beach shoreline and installation complications due to Covid 19 the Bench program has been put on hold.  Please check back for updates.

The Bench Dedication Program serves to place benches in Wasaga Beach Provincial Park in recognition and celebration of individuals, groups and/or life events.

Dedication Location

Must be within Wasaga Beach Provincial Park and a location approved by Park Staff.  This can include Beach Areas 1 to 6 and the Dunes portion of the Park.  No further requests for Allenwood and New Wasaga Areas will be accepted at this time.

Bench and Commemorative Plaque

The bench will be 6 feet in length, built with metal frame, cedar seat and back rest and anchored in concrete. The 6” x 2 ½” commemorative plaque may include up to 10 words/names.

The contributor will be responsible for a payment of $600 per bench payable to “The Friends of Nancy Island and Wasaga Beach Park”.
