Future of Wasaga Under Siege 2021

The Friends of Nancy Island and Wasaga Beach Park regret to advise the public that we shall not be hosting Wasaga Under Siege or Ships and Sails special event at Nancy Island Historic Site during 2021.

Given the current and predicted continuation of Covid 19 and the high-water levels impacting Nancy Island we feel it is in the best interest of the re-enactors, visiting public, and the volunteers to postpone the event until 2022.  Our hope is to keep everyone safe and continue to ensure the protection of infrastructure at Nancy Island Historic Site.
